Twenty years on stage, trained at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, moving between jazz, live electronic, and Powerfunk with a focus on Brass.
Welcome. Across four projects, from a live Powerfunk band to a world music duo to a first album under my own name, the trumpet and saxophone stay at the center. Below is where each one lives, and what I can be booked for.
A live band, a duo, and two albums on their way out.
A live band built on original music and raw energy. Latino rhythms, Hip-Hop grooves, Jazz improvisation, Pop hooks and Rock power, fused into what we call Powerfunk. You will recognise us by the black and gold: on stage, in the sound, and on the uniforms.
A duo with German drummer and pianist Jens Düppe. Two different musical universes meeting on the same stage, balancing world music and improvisation with minimalistic virtuosity: the sparsest elements, played with everything behind them. The debut EP was recorded live in two days at TUFA Trier.
A live recorded album with Koné on handpan, Davide Garattoni on double bass and me on trumpet. Three players in a room, no grid and no overdubs, keeping whatever the take gives back. The pieces follow the elements: Agua, Aire, Fuego and Tierra, with Renacimiento to close.
A singer songwriter album, written, sung and produced under my own name. When it lands, this becomes a full release page with the artwork and links to buy and listen on every platform.
